Homeschool Curriculum: Goodwill Haul

Wow! We are really on a roll. My daughter helped me create a video showcasing the homeschool curriculum goodies I found at our local Goodwill store.

The purpose of the video is to show new and veteran homeschoolers what quality curriculum can be found at local thrift stores. Lets face it, a lot of homeschooling families function on a tight budget. Many are operating on one income, while spending more of that one income purchasing books and materials for their homeschool needs. So, we all need to cut prices wherever and whenever possible.

In the Homeschool Curriculum: Goodwill Haul video, I've tried to mention the name of each book along with its author, illustrator, and/or publisher so that in the event you see something you like, you'll be able to search for it on the web, and so I'd be careful of copyright laws. Now, I know watching someone showing off what they bought can get a tad boring, so we've included some funny bloopers at the end. Get ready to giggle or bust a gut laughing. Tissues might even need to be handy.

We had a fun time putting this video together and I'm doubling up on the purpose of it to include it as a S.T.E.M. (technology) lesson for my daughter. I could probably count it as practice for public speaking, as well. So, we hope you'll find something of interest and are encouraged to stop by your own local Goodwill or other thrift store to check to see what goodies you might find at a discount for you own homeschool.

Happy Homeschooling!
