Since, I'm already searching for supplemental lesson resources to accompany our Apologia Exploring Creation with Biology, 2nd edition, I figured I'd create a list to share with others. I'm hoping this list will save you valuable time, effort, and in most cases money. Unless otherwise noted with a "$", I have attempted to include items being offered for free at the time of listing onto this blog post. The pictures and titles are linked, whenever possible. Hopefully, this linked list will make lesson planning a breeze. Remember to check back occasionally, as I intend to add resources to this list as they come to my attention. I'm including resources I believe will be enjoyable for us to teach and to learn by in our own homeschool. My criteria for inclusion on the list is as follows:
Is it pleasing to the eye? Does it have quality pictures or graphics?
Is it easy to read? Is there too much or too little text?
Is it overwhelming with too much information crammed on a page?
Is it worth the cost of printing?
Is it paced in a comfortable manner conducive to learning a new concept or for review?
Does the narrator speak too fast, too slowly, or speak with an accent that is hard to understand?
I'm hoping I've made good choices and that you'll find the resources enjoyable and bring your lessons to life.
